Georgia & Nick’s Wedding at St James’ the Greater Church, Barlborough & Van Dyke Hotel, Clowne
Good morning or well, for those where it’s morning! Today I’m sharing the gorgeous wedding of Georgia and Nick, which took place in the North of Derbyshire, on the border of Sheffield.
The day began with bridal preparations at Georgia’s mum’s house in Spinkhill, a relaxed, fun morning filled with prosecco, horses and their dog (of course I had to grab some shots!). The bridesmaids and sisters of the bride received surprise personalised gift boxes, which made for some lovely candid moments.
Meanwhile, my second photographer Christina was over with Nick and his groomsmen at the Hotel Van Dyk, capturing all the preparations for the groom.
Once Georgia was ready in her stunning dress, we headed to St James’ the Greater Church in Barlborough, a very personal location for her as she used to sing in the choir there. It was such a beautiful ceremony, filled with emotion, laughter, and perfect May Bank Holiday weather. The smiles, nerves and excitement on their faces made it so easy to document.
After the ceremony, everyone headed to the Van Dyke Hotel in Clowne for the reception. The speeches were heartfelt and fun, and we even snuck outside for some natural couple portraits among the bluebells in the woods—a magical moment captured in soft sunlight.
It was a fantastic day, full of meaningful details and joyful celebrations, and an absolute pleasure to be part of.
