A Coombe Lodge, Blagdon - Bristol Wedding
It’s 2020, just two months before the UK went into a three-month lockdown and I was fortunate enough to photograph a lovely wedding celebration at the absolutely stunning Coombe Lodge, Blagdon, near Bristol. I was assisting Lee Hatherall Photography as an extra pair of eyes, keen to expand my photography adventures further south while staying in Gloucestershire. Lee kindly offered to help me make this happen.
Little did anyone know that this would be the only wedding I photographed in 2020 with a large guest list, making it extra special.
Coombe Lodge – A Venue That Wows - https://www.coombelodge.co.uk/
Coombe Lodge is a straight-up wow from me. I loved it and can’t wait for the chance to photograph another wedding there myself. Here’s a bit about the venue, and I couldn’t agree more:
“Bristol Wedding venue Coombe Lodge is a tranquil oasis in a breath-taking setting, amidst the rolling countryside of North Somerset not far from the vibrant and historic city of Bristol. Our country house wedding venue sits proudly on the edge of the Mendip Hills with an incredible view across Blagdon Lake. Full exclusive use ensures your day is all yours and your guests to explore and enjoy.”
Exclusive-use venues are my favourite, and Coombe Lodge is no exception. From the stunning staircase to the beautifully lit ceremony room and the incredible outdoors for photos, it’s pure perfection at any time of year — and we were lucky enough to have amazing weather, even in early January.
The photo opportunities at Coombe Lodge are endless, and every angle feels timeless and full of natural charm.
If you’re planning a wedding at Coombe Lodge, Blagdon and are looking for a wedding photographer who captures heartfelt, natural and timeless moments, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s create beautiful memories together!
