Huddersfield Wedding at the Pennine Manor Hotel - Yorkshire Wedding Photography

It was one of those weird weather days for Michelle and Oliver’s wedding at the Best Western Pennine Manor Hotel, near Huddersfield. I was once again working alongside as a second shooter with Carrie Jackson Photography. It rained, the sun shone and the wind blew. I also lost my shoe! Don’t ask but I did manage to find it again after all, I couldn’t spend the rest of the day in walking boots!

The day began with some candid groom preparation shots at the hotel where Oliver was getting ready. After that I ventured to Michelle’s mum and dad’s pub to pick up Carrie before venturing back to the hotel for the ceremony. I managed to capture the father’s first look of Michelle in her dress. It's moments like these that are priceless. Michelle looked wonderful in her bridal gown of satin with lace detail around the back which I’m sure you’ll agree. After the ceremony we nipped out front for some couple photos before sitting down and the speeches. After the speeches once the rain had gone it was time for a spot of confetti throwing. I love this part. Just look at how Michelle’s dress blows in the wind!!! Oh Eck!

It was a great wedding with fun loving people and it was joy to share the day and photograph from my perspective.
