Ravenwood Hall Wedding - Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

Well what can I say about this wedding where I worked alongside good friend Ryan Jarvis as his second. It was a long drive from my little hometown of Swadlincote, Derbyshire to Suffolk but it was oh so worth it!

It was my first ever visit to photograph a wedding at Ravenwood Hall and I wasn’t disappointed with its surrounds. It is simply beautiful. Parts of the hall date back to Henry VIII so it’s got some history attached to it that’s for sure. The settings are just stunning. The wedding we were photographing took place in the Pavilion on the occasion so I didn’t get to explore the Hall in great detail. If you’re a classic Mini car enthusiast then check them out in the blog as the happy couple loved theirs.

Lots of candids from the day just as I would photograph when I am the leading photographer - the only thing missing is the few group photos I would normally take and not being at the front for the ceremony. What I can say is what a fabulous wedding to be part of and I’m so very thankful to Ryan for asking me to second shoot for him and for being able to blog a selection of images some time later. I’m still working my way through Summer 2019 and have plenty to share still.

For now let’s take a look at this beautiful wedding day at Ravenwood Hall, Suffolk…..
