A Beautiful Swancar Farm Wedding in Nottingham | Relaxed Barn Wedding Photography
Set amongst the rolling Nottinghamshire countryside, Swancar Farm is one of those venues that instantly feels welcoming. With its beautiful oak beams, stunning views and thoughtfully designed spaces, it offers the perfect setting for couples planning a relaxed and elegant wedding surrounded by the people they love most.
This beautiful Swancar Farm wedding was full of genuine moments and heartfelt connections. It was my third time photographing at this wonderful venue and it was a pleasure to return alongside my friend Holly Jo Photography.
The morning began with the groom and his groomsmen getting ready together at the venue. There was a lovely atmosphere throughout the morning as final preparations were made and guests began to arrive. Before long, Ed was greeting family and friends ahead of the ceremony.
The ceremony took place in Swancar Farm's beautiful barn. Filled with natural light and character, it provided a stunning backdrop as Molly made her entrance looking incredible in her elegant lace overlay gown. The ceremony was full of emotion and anticipation as the couple exchanged their vows surrounded by their nearest and dearest.
Following the ceremony, guests gathered outside for a joyful confetti celebration before family photographs and relaxed drinks in the sunshine. While formal photographs are always important, I also love capturing the in between moments that tell the real story of the day. The laughter between friends, warm embraces and quiet conversations often become some of the most treasured memories.
After a wonderful wedding breakfast, the speeches brought plenty of laughter and a few happy tears. The atmosphere throughout the day felt effortless and relaxed with everyone simply enjoying being together.
Later in the evening, we stepped outside for a few portraits with Molly and Ed. The beautiful countryside surroundings and soft evening light provided the perfect setting. We also had some fun creating champagne spray photographs which added an extra sense of celebration and energy to the gallery.
As the day drew to a close, the couple shared a beautiful first dance before joining their guests on the dance floor. It was the perfect ending to a wedding filled with love, happiness and genuine connection.
Swancar Farm continues to be one of my favourite Nottinghamshire wedding venues. Its combination of rustic elegance, beautiful countryside views and relaxed atmosphere makes it an incredible setting for couples looking to create a wedding that feels both timeless and personal.
