A Relaxed Couple Photoshoot with Leah & Josh – From Engagement to Wedding and Beyond…..
It’s always so lovely when past wedding couples get in touch to book another shoot — and that’s exactly what happened when Leah and Josh saw my recent promotion for couple photoshoots. They messaged me straight away, saying they’d loved working with me before and would love another session together.
Our story goes back quite a while. Leah and Josh first booked me for their engagement shoot, where they mentioned how nervous they both were about being in front of the camera. But within minutes, they relaxed, laughed, and just enjoyed being together — and it showed in every image. After that session, they decided to book me as their wedding photographer, and I was thrilled to capture their beautiful celebration at Hanbury Barns, just outside Burton-on-Trent.
Hanbury Barns is one of my favourite local venues to work at — it has such a warm, rustic charm and stunning countryside views that make it perfect for relaxed and romantic wedding photography. Leah and Josh’s day there back in January 2023 was a joy from start to finish — filled with love, laughter, and those little moments that tell the real story of a wedding day.
This latest couple photoshoot was all about celebrating that next chapter. It was relaxed, fun, and full of genuine connection — just the two of them being themselves, enjoying some time together in the countryside. These shoots are a wonderful way to capture memories after the wedding, whether it’s an anniversary, a new milestone, or simply because you want to document your story.
