A Beautiful Outdoor Wedding at Wethele Manor, Warwickshire

Back in May 2024, I had the absolute pleasure of assisting Sarah Anderson Photography at the stunning Wethele Manor in Warwickshire. It was my first visit to this beautiful countryside venue — and what a perfect day it turned out to be for an outdoor wedding.

I began the morning capturing the groom’s preparations in one of the downstairs rooms of the main house. There was a lovely calm atmosphere, and the light streaming through the rear door it made for some great candid moments before the celebrations began.

Soon after, I headed outside to photograph the guests arriving, all smiling and excited to see the couple say their vows. The ceremony took place outdoors in the sunshine, surrounded by lush green gardens and the rustic charm that Wethele Manor is known for.

The bride looked absolutely stunning in her layered tulle gown with champagne underlay, featuring a beautiful spotted embroidered lace overlay that caught the light perfectly. It was such a joy to photograph those details as she walked down the aisle.

Following the ceremony, everyone gathered in the courtyard and on the lawn for drinks and canapés. The couple had also arranged some fantastic entertainment — wedding-themed crazy golf and classic lawn games that kept guests laughing all afternoon. Their adorable dog was also part of the day, adding even more personality and joy to the celebration.

The weather couldn’t have been better — bright, sunny, and full of that wonderful golden light that makes outdoor weddings so special. I spent the day documenting everything as it naturally unfolded, from laughter-filled group shots to those in-between candid moments that tell the real story of the day.

It was such a fun, relaxed, and heartwarming wedding to be part of, and I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to assist Sarah Anderson Photography at this beautiful Warwickshire venue.
