Relaxed Summer Wedding at Foxtail Barns, Staffordshire | Sarah & Kealan
Sarah and Kealan's August wedding at Foxtail Barns in Staffordshire was one of those days that perfectly reflected who they are as a couple relaxed, joyful and full of genuine moments.
Nestled in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside, Foxtail Barns is a venue I always love returning to. With its stunning gardens, charming bridge and exclusive setting, it provides the perfect backdrop for natural wedding photography while allowing couples and their guests to truly enjoy the day.
The morning preparations were filled with excitement and anticipation. Sarah looked incredible in a gown she had designed herself, adding a wonderfully personal touch to the celebrations. Meanwhile, Kealan got ready in one of Foxtail Barns' glamping pods, creating a relaxed start to the day before everything unfolded.
From the ceremony through to the evening celebrations, there was a wonderful atmosphere among family and friends. The speeches were packed with laughter, heartfelt stories and plenty of emotion, creating some of my favourite moments to photograph.
One of the things I love most about documentary wedding photography is capturing the moments that happen naturally throughout the day. The smiles exchanged across the room, the hugs from loved ones and the spontaneous laughter often become the photographs couples treasure most years later.
We also made the most of the beautiful grounds at Foxtail Barns for couple portraits. Sarah and Kealan were wonderfully relaxed together, allowing us to create natural photographs without taking them away from their guests for long.
It was a privilege to document such a special day and to work alongside the lovely Deb from Stott Weddings. Sarah and Kealan's wedding was filled with warmth, personality and genuine connection – everything that makes a wedding truly memorable.
