Inside a Wedding at The Crazy Bear, Stadhampton: One of Oxfordshire's Most Unique Wedding Venues

Nestled in the Oxfordshire countryside, this wonderfully eccentric venue is famous for its lavish interiors, quirky design and luxurious atmosphere. Every room feels different from the last, with bold colours, unique furnishings and unexpected details creating a wedding setting unlike anywhere else.

This was my first time photographing a wedding at The Crazy Bear and it certainly lived up to its name. Despite the soaring summer temperatures, guests enjoyed a relaxed celebration filled with laughter, great food and plenty of character. As a documentary wedding photographer, venues like this are always exciting because there is so much personality to capture naturally throughout the day.

While this wedding focused very much on the story of the day rather than formal portraits, The Crazy Bear offers wonderful opportunities for couples wanting additional photographs. The surrounding woodland provides beautiful natural backdrops, while the gardens around the hotel create elegant spaces for relaxed portraits away from the celebrations.
