A Joyful Gay Wedding at Blakelands Country House, Wolverhampton

There was so much joy woven into Jonny and Jay’s wedding day at Blakelands Country House, the kind of wedding where everyone completely relaxed into the moment from the very beginning.

From Doctor Who details and Daleks to a brilliant fish and chips wedding breakfast, the whole day felt personal, fun and unapologetically them. Set against the beautiful grounds of Blakelands Country House near Wolverhampton, their outdoor ceremony was filled with laughter, emotion and some of the best confetti celebrations I’ve photographed.

Working alongside the lovely Deb of Stott Weddings, I documented the day as it naturally unfolded, genuine moments, huge smiles, happy tears and all the little in-between moments that made the day unforgettable.
