Spring Wedding at Karma Salford Hall, Evesham
There’s something undeniably romantic about a springtime outdoor wedding — especially when the sun shines all day long. In May 2024, I had the pleasure of assisting Michelle from Silverstar Photographic for a beautiful wedding at Karma Salford Hall, a historic countryside venue near Evesham. It was my first visit to this incredible location, and it didn’t disappoint.
The day began in Warwick, where I joined the groom and his family for morning preparations. With deep Irish roots, the groom’s parents and brothers had travelled all the way from their farm near Tipperary, a big commitment when you have animals and fields waiting back home. The sense of family and togetherness was palpable from the start.
Their adorable miniature Schnauzer, Chipper, was very much part of the day too, proudly wearing his custom-made wedding collar for the occasion. After capturing those all-important getting-ready moments, I made the 40-minute drive to Karma Salford Hall, where guests were already gathering beneath the spring sunshine.
The couple’s outdoor ceremony was set against the backdrop of the venue’s historic stone walls and manicured gardens, a perfect setting for a relaxed yet elegant celebration. There’s something so special about saying “I do” surrounded by fresh air, birdsong, and the scent of spring blossoms.
As canapés and glasses of fizz flowed, so did the laughter, hugs, and conversations. Guests mingled on the lawn, soaking up every golden ray of sunlight before heading into the evening’s celebrations. The couple’s Marks & Spencer naked cake, simple yet beautifully styled which reflected their unfussy, timeless taste.
The bride looked radiant in her off-the-shoulder ivory satin gown, effortlessly chic and understated, adding a touch of luxury to the day’s natural elegance. My time with them concluded just after the first dance, a perfect ending to a warm, joy-filled wedding that celebrated love, family, and life’s simple pleasures.
It was a wonderful experience to assist Michelle and a real treat to photograph such a relaxed countryside wedding in the heart of spring.
