These images are from a beautiful late October wedding at The West Mill in Derby, one of my favourite local venues. While I’ll be sharing the full wedding soon, I wanted to highlight the incredible autumn colours and styling from the day as inspiration.
Autumn brings the most stunning natural colour palette rich russet reds, deep browns, burnt oranges and golden yellows. These tones work so beautifully together and create a warm, relaxed atmosphere that translates perfectly into natural, timeless wedding photographs.
The West Mill in Darley Abbey is the perfect setting for an autumn wedding. Its industrial character combined with soft seasonal styling makes it incredibly versatile whether your vision is minimal, rustic, or elegant.
It’s a venue I always love returning to, not only because of its stunning light and layout but because every wedding there feels completely unique to each couple.
