An Elegant Spring Wedding at Pimm Hill

Last spring, I had the opportunity to photograph part of a beautiful wedding day at Pimm Hill while second shooting alongside my friend Sam of Samantha J Photography.

Nestled within the Shropshire countryside, Pimm Hill is such a stunning barn wedding venue with beautiful open views, elegant interiors and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. It was my first time visiting the venue and it instantly became one I hoped to return to again someday.

The styling throughout the day felt timeless and effortlessly elegant. The bride wore a beautifully fitted gown paired with a cathedral veil that moved perfectly in the spring breeze, creating such graceful and understated moments throughout the day.

One of my favourite parts of the wedding was seeing the couple’s dog included in the celebrations too, something that always adds an extra layer of personality and meaning to a wedding day.

Although I’m only sharing a carefully selected collection of non-identifiable images from the wedding, I still wanted to feature a few moments from this beautiful venue and celebrate the atmosphere, details and countryside setting that made the day feel so special.

My approach to wedding photography is always centred around capturing genuine moments naturally as they unfold, the quiet interactions, thoughtful details and the feeling of the day itself without too much interruption or staging.

If you’re planning a relaxed countryside wedding at Pimm Hill or another beautiful barn venue, I’d love to hear more about your plans.

If you’re planning a relaxed countryside wedding and are looking for natural, storytelling photography with a calm and unobtrusive approach, I’d love to hear more about your plans.
