This luxurious Grade II listed stately home, set in 100 acres of rolling parkland with 14 acres of formal gardens, provided the perfect backdrop for an elegant, heartfelt day.
From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the beauty of the venue. Thornbridge Hall is a private residence lovingly restored by Jim and Emma Harrison and is now one of the UK’s most exclusive luxury wedding venues. Its grandeur, refined elegance, and breathtaking grounds make it ideal for couples seeking a sophisticated yet relaxed wedding experience.
Gail and Richard’s wedding had a beautiful Scottish theme, honouring Gail’s heritage with delicate thistle and rose buttonholes and kilts on some of the guests and page boys, while Richard looked incredibly smart in a classic three-piece suit. The day perfectly balanced elegance and warmth, classic autumn light spilling across the gardens, golden leaves creating a romantic palette, and moments of pure laughter shared between the bridal party and family.
I particularly loved photographing the intimate details: Gail’s exquisite wedding dress, the carefully styled bow ties, and the quiet, emotional moments as the couple prepared for their ceremony.
