Laura & Mark’s Emotional and Joyful Wedding at Ringwood Hall, Chesterfield
Another beautiful 2021 wedding back at Ringwood Hall in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, and one that will always stay close to my heart. Laura and Mark’s day was simply overflowing with emotion so much love, laughter and genuine care.
Capturing Mark helping his father during the getting-ready preparations was an incredibly moving moment for me as a photographer. I’ve never documented anything quite like it before, it was truly something very special.
Laura is an extraordinary bride. In 2018, she was awarded an OBE for her services to nursing, is a professor, and a multiple award-winning international speaker on Global Diversity and Inclusion. She now runs her own leadership and coaching business, inspiring others to pursue personal growth. Mark is certainly a very lucky man.
The ceremony itself was beautiful and heartfelt, with personal readings, a song performed by Laura’s son, and a little dance back down the aisle by the newlyweds. Afterward, we captured some family formal photos, plenty of candids, and heartfelt speeches before finishing the evening with lots of dancing.
One of my favourite parts has to be the dance floor—there’s nothing better than everyone letting loose, grooving to epic tunes, and simply enjoying themselves. Ringwood Hall looked absolutely stunning, as always, and it was such a joy to capture Laura and Mark’s happy ‘I do’ day.
