Getting Ready with Adam and the Dogs
I am so excited to share Amy and Adam’s wedding day! Amy is a lovely friend and we’ve known each other for years from the yard where we kept our horses. She has always been so supportive of my photography and it was such a joy to be part of her big day.
I was assisting the hugely talented Claire Roige Photography as a second photographer, capturing all the little moments alongside her. The wedding was local to me at the beautiful Donington Park Farmhouse in Derbyshire, and it was such a relaxed, joyful day.
I spent the morning with Adam, the groom, who was in high spirits and full of laughs. Amy and Adam also brought their two adorable dogs, which made for some wonderful candid moments.
Lawn Games, Laughter, and Outdoor Fun
From start to finish, I captured so many joyful moments. Guests enjoyed lawn games including giant Kerplunk, Quoits, and Jenga. The October sun shone brightly, making it perfect for drinks and laughter outside.
Amy looked stunning in her dress, it suited her perfectly and there was even a fun story behind Adam’s quest for the perfect green tie which in the end didn’t happen as the theme was changed to blue!
Speeches, Dancing, and Photo Booth Moments
The speeches were full of emotion and laughs. Adam and his brother had everyone giggling and Amy’s father made us all reach for the tissues with his heartfelt words.
The day continued with music, dancing, shots, and the Photo Booth, where even more silly faces were captured. It was such a fun and relaxed celebration of love.

Amy and Adam are a chilled, in-love couple, and it was a pleasure capturing their natural, candid moments. They have been together since university, and it was wonderful to see their love celebrated in such a relaxed and joyful way.
