Cozy Winter Micro Wedding at Lichfield Registry Office
It was a frosty, foggy day back in January 2025 when I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Jenny and James’ intimate micro wedding at Lichfield Registry Office. With just a handful of guests, their wedding had a cosy, heartfelt feel that made every moment so special.
I first met the couple for a pre-wedding chat in December and we really hit it off. On the wedding day, the lovely Jenny even brought me a packet of M&S Ginger Snap biscuit and I made sure she stayed warm with my cream faux fur jacket and a hand warmer. Moments like these make every wedding so memorable for me as a photographer.
Jenny and James were completely relaxed in front of the camera and fully enjoyed being together. Their love and joy were effortless to capture, and it made my job a delight. One of my favourite parts of the day was heading up to the Cathedral, where the stunning architecture provided the perfect backdrop for some truly magical shots.
The day wrapped up as the couple settled down to enjoy their meal at Ego restaurant, leaving behind a collection of natural, joyful images that truly tell the story of their special day.

"It was such a pleasure to have Tracey with us on our wedding day. Firstly, the pictures are gorgeous! My husband and I aren't really photo people, yet, she made us feel so at ease and natural you couldn't tell at all! She has a talent for capturing moments, looks and feelings and you can tell she cares deeply about doing a good job. Also, she was generally lovely to have around. She looked after me, a freezing cold bride, not complaining once herself, and blended in so easily even with a small wedding party. Huge thanks again Tracey!"
