Foxtail Barns Wedding Photography in Staffordshire | Natural, Storytelling Barn Weddings
In June 2022, I had the pleasure of second-shooting alongside my friend Deb of Stott Weddings at the beautiful Foxtail Barns in Consall, Staffordshire. It’s a venue I absolutely adore—every visit feels special, and the rustic charm combined with the stunning grounds makes it perfect for storytelling wedding photography.
We started the day at Ryan’s parents’ house, capturing the last few getting-ready moments. I couldn’t help but notice the red Ferrari on the driveway—Ryan had hired it for his arrival, and yes, he drove it himself! That little touch of excitement instantly set the tone for a fun, joyful day.
The Ceremony in the Orangery
One of my favourite spots at Foxtail Barns is the Orangery. It’s bright, airy, and just perfect for intimate ceremonies. Every wedding I photograph here has a unique vibe, thanks to the couple’s personal touches in the decor.
Confetti, Candid Moments, and Genuine Smiles
Confetti is always a highlight for me—it’s full of laughter, movement, and those perfectly unposed moments. I love capturing it from all angles, especially if there’s another photographer to bounce ideas off. Those little bursts of joy make for images you’ll treasure forever.

After the ceremony, it was drinks and canapés time. Instead of rushing through formal shots, I focused on candid interactions. I love documenting the laughter, the hugs, and those tiny details that show the personality of your day. The grounds at Foxtail Barns are gorgeous, so even a brief 15-minute couple session feels like a mini adventure.
The Barn Wedding Breakfast
The barn itself is a real highlight. Its rustic, welcoming atmosphere sets the perfect backdrop for speeches, laughter, and all those little wedding moments that make the day feel alive.
